The last four weeks have all led up to this point. Mid-American Conference play is finally here and for the second week in a row, Central Michigan football faces off against a team that defeated them last season and left them shocked.
On the first play of the fourth quarter against South Alabama, redshirt sophomore quarterback Jase Bauer broke a tackle in the backfield to then deliver a 70-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jesse Prewitt III to put the Chippewas up by 10.
