Kitchen Central Ep. 3 | Blackened Fish Tacos with Pineapple Salsa
Need a new Taco Tuesday recipe? We got you! Jack and Courtney will show you how to prepare and make these delicious fish tacos! Blackened Fish with Pineapple Salsa Ingredients: Fish 1 lb. of fish such as: Cod, Tilapia, Mahi-Mahi Cajun Spice Blend 1 tsp Salt 1 tbsp Paprika 1 tsp Oregano ½ - ¾ tsp Cayenne ½ tsp Garlic Powder ½ tsp Onion Powder ½ tsp Black Pepper 1 tsp Brown Sugar Pineapple Salsa 1 small Pineapple Chopped (~3 cups) 1 small Red Pepper Diced 1 small Green Pepper Diced ½ Red Onion Chopped ¼ cup Cilantro Chopped 1 Lime Juice Only 1 tbsp Olive Oil 1 tsp Honey ½ tsp Ground Cumin ½ tsp Salt Instructions: Fish 1. Combine salt, paprika, oregano, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and brown sugar into a mixing bowl. 2. Pat fish dry with paper towel. Drizzle or brush small amount of olive oil onto one side of the fish. 3. Sprinkle spice blend onto side of fish brushed with olive oil. Gently pat fish. 4. Flip the fish. Brush or drizzle olive oil onto this side of the fish. Sprinkle spice blend onto this side of the fish. Gently pat fish. 5. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place fish on parchment paper on a baking sheet. Cook fish for 9-11 minutes or until proper internal temperature is met. Pineapple Salsa 1. Combine all ingredients into mixing bowl. Kitchen Central Ep. 2 | Making Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps
We're back at it with another delicious, quick meal! Join Julia and Danielle as we dive in on how to make Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps this week! Instructions on how to make Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps... Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps Yield: 6 servings Cook time: 10 mins Prep Time: 5mins Total Time: 15 mins Ingredients 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 pound ground beef 3 cloves garlic ¼ cup brown sugar ¼ cup soy sauce ½ teaspoon fresh ginger ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper Salt Pepper ½ cup sliced green onions Lettuce Rice: 3 cups rice 3 cups water Instructions Cook the rice according to instructions on box. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef in the sesame oil. Add the garlic towards the end of browning and cook for a couple of minutes. Drain the fat. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper, and red pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and lettuce. Then top with green onions.
