CMU gathers for "Stand Up For Science" rally

Dozens of members of the Central Michigan University science and education communities gathered Friday, March 7, outside the Bovee University Center to rally on behalf of science education and research. Students, faculty, staff and members of the community spoke about the importance of medical, biological, social and environmental science and developments. It was part of a nationwide event designed to cast light on the importance of the study and to bring awareness to the idea that science is for everyone.
