Taylor Ballek | Photo Editor On Crawford Street lies the historic site of the American Indian Industrial Boarding School that was in operation from 1893-1934. Native American childeren were either forcibly taken from their homes or sent here under the idea that they would be getting an education. Over 200 children died and were burried on this land.
