Woodland Hospice House employee Makenzie Renaker, from Clare, smiles at the butterfly in her hand. She released it to honor her late father during the Aug. 6 Butterflies in the Park event at Woodland Hospice House in Mount Pleasant. Renaker said of the butterflies, 'There was one of them that like just stuck around on me, so I thought that was kind of special.' It was her first time working the event, and she said she really liked it.
