The Innocents
The Central Michigan University School of Music hosts guest percussionists John Lane and Allen Otte to perform "The Innocents" in Chamichian Chamber Music Hall, Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. "The Innocents" explores issues of wrongful imprisonment, exoneration and resilience in the American criminal justice system through the use of performance art and non-traditional instruments. The project was inspired by a photography exhibition by Taryn Simon, and aims to confront the often uncomfortable questions surrounding injustice.
