Polar Plunge
The annual Mount Pleasant Polar Plunge was held outside of O'Kelly's Sports Bar & Grill, in Mount Pleasant, Mich., on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025. Participants jumped into the pool to raise money for Special Olympics Michigan. The money raised would be used for training and services to over 22,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities in the state. This year's Plunge raised over $63,000, beating the goal of $58,000.
