Mount Pleasant Earth Day Celebration
Mount Pleasant students, organizations and community members gather to celebrate Earth Day at Island Park on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Local environmental groups, including Central Sustainability and Consumers Energy, ran tables that aimed to educate attendees about various aspects of the environment. Several third grade classes from Fancher Elementary took a field trip to the event, where they were able to play games, make crafts from recycled materials and learn about protecting the earth.
