Men's Basketball vs. Akron

Central Michigan lost a nail-biter against conference-leading Akron 85-82 at McGuirk Arena, on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025. Central Michigan junior forward Ugnius Jarusevicius recorded a game-high 32 points and 10 rebounds. This is his second straight 30-10 game and his seventh double-double of the season. Senior guard Anthony Pritchard had 15 points, six assists and went a perfect 6-6 from the free-throw line. Despite starting just seven players, Central Michigan cut the lead to two with five seconds remaining. However, Akron senior guard Shammah Scott would make two free throws to put the game out of reach. Central Michigan moves to 11-14 overall and 4-8 in MAC play. Their next game is against Ohio, on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025.
