LGBTQ Trailblazers
The Black History Month LGBTQ+ Trailblazers event highlighted the contributions of influential figures in both Black and LGBTQ+ history in the Bovee University Center room 108 on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025. CMU Director of LGBTQ+ Services and Gender Equity Bee Taylor and Central Michigan University junior Xavier McKinney provided context for the event, focusing on the intersections of race and gender identity. Attendees engaged in discussions about pioneers and gained insight into their impact on social justice movements.
