Hands Off Protest
Students and residents from Mount Pleasant and surrounding counties joined each other to protest against Donald Trump and Elon Musk during the Hands Off Protest at Island Park, Saturday, April 5, 2025. The event was held by the Indivisible organization and the attendees could get signs, T-shirts and stickers to support the organization. The event drew a big crowd with around 400 people. The protesters had a lunch social then listened to speeches given by members of the community. Finally, they marched through downtown Mount Pleasant.
