Isabella County fair Family Fun Day and Fundraiser
A midday storm couldn’t dampen the spirits of more than 50 volunteers and a few dozen families who descended on the Isabella County Fairgrounds Saturday, June 22, for the Isabella County Youth & Farm Fair Family Fun Day Fundraiser. The annual celebration of all things agriculture included live animal demonstrations, food, cupcake decoration, games, make-and-take crafts, live music and plenty of smiles for all ages. The event is intended to raise money for renovations and maintenance to the 42-year-old fairgrounds on the northern edge of town, while simultaneously educating children and parents about the many different facets of agriculture, art, athletics and home economics the annual expo showcases.
