Beyond the Page: Asian Voices in Literature
The Central Michigan University Multicultural Academic Student Services office held a Beyond the Page: Asian Voices in Literature event in the Sarah and Daniel Opperman Auditorium, Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The event started with a presentation by seniors Lindsey Nguyen and Shreya Abraham that highlighted the history of Asian authors, some stereotypes they go through and some well known books that people might not know were written by Asian authors. A scavenger hunt followed and the winner got to choose from from five different books that were written by Asian authors as a prize.
