Baseball vs. Miami (Ohio)
Central Michigan fell to Miami (Ohio) 7-6 in extra innings at Keiltiz Field at Theunissen Stadium, Saturday, April 19, 2025. Miami (Ohio) senior right-handed pitcher Clayton Burke threw 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits. Central Michigan junior catcher Aydin Wright recorded three hits, raising his batting average to .359. Central Michigan sophomore outfielder Mikey Murphy hit a three run homerun in the bottom of the 10th to bring the game within one. However, the Chippewas couldn’t tie it up, and the game ended on a ground out to Miami (Ohio) junior utility man Dominic Krupinski. Central Michigan moves to 16-24 overall and 8-10 in MAC play. Their next game is against Oakland, at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
