Baseball vs. Miami (Ohio)
Central Michigan defeated Miami (Ohio) 4-3 at Keiltiz Field at Theunissen Stadium, Friday, April 18, 2025. Central Michigan redshirt junior right-handed pitcher/infielder/outfielder AJ Kostic threw seven solid innings, allowing three runs on six hits. Central Michigan junior infielder Aaron Piasecki and sophomore infielder/outfielder Nathan Ball each recorded two hits in the game. This was CMU's first home MAC win of the season and Central Michigan infielder/right-handed pitcher Cayden Smith's first career save. CMU is now 16-23 overall and 8-9 in MAC play and currently sits sixth in the conference. They return for the series final against Miami Ohio at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025.
