Baseball vs Bowling Green
Central Michigan lost in extra innings 6-5 against Bowling Green at Keiltiz Field at Theunissen Stadium, Sunday, March 30, 2025. Central Michigan redshirt sophomore starting pitcher Jared Hanson had a strong performance, throwing six innings and allowing two runs on five hits. CMU would score four of their five runs in the second inning. Central Michigan junior outfielder Zach Knowlton, junior catcher Aydin Wright and sophomore infielder/outfielder Nathan Ball all doubled in the inning. CMU gave up three runs in the top of the eighth to tie the game. They would give up one run in the top of the 10th after a sac-fly from Bowling Green junior infielder Sam Seidel scored sophomore catcher Garret Wright. In the bottom of the 10th CMU had a runner on second with two outs and couldn’t bring them home. CMU falls to 10-18 overall and 5-4 in MAC play. Their next game is on the road against Purdue Fort Wayne on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
