Football VS Northern Illinois University
Central Michigan's football team beat Northern Illinois 37-31 on its Fright Night/Halloween celebration, Tuesday, Oct. 31 in Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Redshirt sophomore quarterback Jase Bauer was the game's passing leader with nine passes for 116 yards. Junior running back Marion Lukes was the rushing leader, rushing 202 yards with one touchdown. Junior wide receiver Jesse Prewitt III was the game's receiving leader with three receptions totalling 49 yards. Junior defensive back Trey Jones led the defense with eight tackles. The win brings CMU's records to 3-2 in MAC conference play and 5-4 overall.
