'We Live In Time' is a gripping romantic story with Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield starring as a wholesome couple in a relationship. The film spans three different periods of time that had a profound impact on their relationship.

It tackles everyday relationship problems while also telling a compelling story that will have you in tears by the end.

I'm not usually one for romantic comedies, or at least I'm very picky with the ones I choose to watch. This romantic comedy is one of the few exceptions because this movie had me on the same emotional level as 'The Wild Robot', perhaps even more.

To understand where I'm coming from please check out my review of The Wild Robot.

This movie had an absolute powerhouse of a performance between Garfield and Pugh as their relationship was so believable and genuine, I lost myself in the characters and their story.

It would be a crime if both were not nominated for these performances. The emotions they displayed felt real and powerful and the story following them is really engaging.

The directing of the movie was gorgeous! Every shot of this movie was crystal clear with an incredible amount of care and detail in each scene. I loved the colors they highlighted and while I don't condone the overuse of sex scenes in movies, the amount of care the filmmakers took to make sure each scene was integral to the plot and were impactful to the film.

I really enjoyed a lot of the artistic decisions made and thought they were very tasteful and genuinely sweet.

Overall this movie is a must see in theaters. Be warned: while this is a cute couples movie, the last half will rip your heart out and tear it into tiny pieces.

I was a sobbing mess after the movie and needed to take a nap afterwards to recover. This movie is a perfect 10/10 and should be seen in theaters immediately. This is a limited release from A24 and beg everyone to see this great movie!
