This week, several parking lots will be closed to everyone except students moving into their residence halls.

From 5 p.m. today through 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 11 lots will be closed. These are lots 39, 40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 50, 52 and 53. All are located near the Towers, South and East residence halls.

Individuals who park in these lots during the move-in time may be ticketed or towed, according to information from university residence life. On Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, access to these lots will be monitored, and anyone who is not a student coming to move in will be turned away.

“Students may temporarily park in lots 22, 33, 55 or 75 until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, but must move into their designated lot by 6 p.m. on Sunday Aug. 25,” according to the information.
