Craft beer festival coming to downtown Mount Pleasant
Ninth annual event supports local nonprofits

The Mount Pleasant craft beer festival is returning for its ninth year on June 10, 2023.
Presented by the local Jaycees and The Bird Bar and Grill, attendees can come downtown to Broadway Street to use a general admission or a VIP ticket.
According to a release from the beer fest, general admission tickets cost $40 include and:
- Entrance to the event at 4 p.m.
- A sampling glass
- Six drink tickets
Alternatively, VIP tickets are available for $50 and include:
- Entrance to the event at 3 p.m.
- A sampling glass
- Ten drink tickets
- Access to real restrooms
- Limited quantity brews
Proceeds from the event, according to the press release, are used to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
“Since the event started in 2014, the Mount Pleasant Jaycees have been able to grant over $200,000 back to local community organizations,” according to the release.
