Taylor Pitchell named MAC Specialist of the Week
Central Michigan gymnastics senior Taylor Pitchell was named the Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week after matching her career-high on floor with 9.950 against Kent State on Sunday.
This is the first ever MAC weekly award for Pitchell. She has scored a 9.900 or above four times on floor this season.
The Chippewas have claimed a MAC weekly honor for four weeks in a row and five times on the season.
CMU will return to Kent State to compete at the MAC Championships at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
