International Student Organization to host 'BBQ Around the World' event
The Central Michigan University International Student Organization is hosting an event called "BBQ Around the World" on Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. at Island Park’s west shelter.
The barbecue will be fitted with different kinds of food to serve all attendees such as BBQ, vegetables and halal meats. There will also be snacks, drinks, activities and games for students to enjoy such as a volleyball match, according to the ISO.
The event aims to grow connections between students and give them the opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experiences of international students.
Tickets are available on the online sign-up form. Students can pay $7 for a ticket online or for $10 at the door the day of the event. Students can pay through Zelle, Cashapp or Venmo.
The form to register closes Sept. 23, at 11:59 p.m. After Friday, the ISO will not accept any late registrations.
