Richardson, Nichols ink sponsorship deals with O'Kelly's Sports Bar and Grille
Central Michigan football quarterback Daniel Richardson and running back Lew Nichols III have signed name, image and likeness deals with O'Kelly's Sports Bar and Grille.
Richardson and Nichols, both redshirt freshmen, enjoyed breakout seasons in 2021. Now, the two will be the official 'Wing Wednesdays' ambassadors for the popular local sports bar.
The two are the first Chippewa athletes to officially sign as ambassadors for O'Kelly's and will promote the restaurant's campaign.
Richardson served as a DJ for Wayside Central, an adjoining night club to O'Kelly's, Feb. 5 and is set to do so again Friday.
Nichols was the nation's leading rusher with 1,848 yards, a total that ranks second in CMU's single-season history. Only Brian Pruitt in 1994 had more, totaling 1,890. Richardson threw for 2,633 yards and 24 touchdowns, which eighth all-time in CMU single-season history.
