CMU to host several Native American Heritage Month events
Central Michigan University is hosting several events to celebrate Native American Heritage Month this November.
“Native American Heritage Month is an opportunity for CMU students, faculty, and Staff to continue to expand their knowledge of Native American culture, issues, and advocacy through experiential learning,” said Director of Native American Programs Colleen Green.
The Native American programs and their co-sponsors have laid out several events for the course of the month in collaboration with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. These on-campus events will take place through Nov. 30.
