MPPD officers were called at 3:20 a.m. to O'Kelly's Sports Bar and Grill to check on a 19-year-old man sleeping in his car. When officers woke the man up, he was visibly intoxicated. Officers advised the man to call a ride home and not to drive. He refused to get a ride home. Officers once again advised him not to drive home and moved to a different part of the parking lot. A couple of minutes later, officers watched the man leave in his car. Officers pulled him over and made him do a sobriety and breathalyzer test. He failed his sobriety and blew a 0.57. He was lodged in Isabella County Jail.

MPPD officers were called at 11:24 a.m. to E. Palmer Street because a car had driven on top of the sidewalk. When officers arrived, they met with a 21-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man. The man told police he and the woman were arguing because she did not go look at a car that he found for her. The car had sold before either could go look at it. He became upset and jerked the wheel while she was driving. No injuries were received. The situation was turned over to the prosecutor's office.

The woman was visibly intoxicated. When officers attempted to get the men and woman out of the car, the 48-year-old man became uncooperative. He grabbed one of the officer's arms and shoved it away. The officer pushed the man back and he fell to the ground. The man did not get injured. Officers were able to calm the man down and sent the group away.

An MPPD officer was doing community policing at 1:08 a.m. near Wayside when he saw a 34-year-old man place his belongings in a pickup truck. The man then approached the officer and said he did not plan on driving and was waiting for a ride. 15 minutes later the officer watched the pickup truck leave the parking lot. The car was unable to maintain its lane of travel and did not have its tail lights on. The officer pulled the vehicle over and conducted a sobriety test. The man did not pass. His Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was a 0.13. He was lodged in Isabella County Jail.

He was also going 35 mph in a 25 mph area. When officers pulled him over, he stated he had a few mixed drinks at The Bird earlier that night. He was asked to step out of the car to do a sobriety test, but he lost his balance and fell. He failed the sobriety tests and refused to do a breath test or blood draw.
