Board of Trustees to discuss diversity, equity, inclusion among faculty ranks

Administrators and trustees discuss university business during the Dec. 4, 2019 Board of Trustees meeting.
Central Michigan University's Board of Trustees will meet on Dec. 1 and 2 for the public to join virtually.
The agenda items include a presentation on the master capital plan updates from Vice President of Finances and Administrative Services Nick Long and Associate Vice President Jonathan Webb.
Committees will be meeting from 2-6 p.m. on Dec. 1 to receive updates on the budget and discuss diversity, equity and inclusion among faculty ranks. The committee meeting schedule is:
- Academic and Student Affairs, 2-3:30 p.m.
- Finance and Facilities, 3:45-4:15 p.m.
- Trustees-Faculty Liaison Committee, 4:30-6 p.m.
The formal session at 10 a.m. on Dec. 2 will include a discussion on the presidential assessment process.
Public comments will be allowed for the formal session by filling out a request online and providing the comments in advance.
Due to the virtual format, during this meeting public comments will not be delivered in-person.
The committee meetings and formal session will be available for the campus community and general public to watch virtually on Chipcast.
