The Mid-American Conference announced changes to Central Michigan's men's basketball matchups with Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan on Nov. 27.
The game at WMU, which was originally scheduled to be played on Dec. 22, will now be played on Dec. 18. This game will be the Chippewas' conference opener.
The Chippewas will still play on Dec. 22, but it will be at EMU. The road game at the Eagles was previously scheduled to be played on Feb. 23.
There has not been a set time for either game. The Chippewas had their season opener against Trine canceled on Nov. 25 due to COVID-19 protocols.
Additionally, the Chippewas released an opponent, Flagler College, for the second game of a two-day trip to Miami, Florida. Flagler College is a Division II school located in St. Augustine, Florida that plays in the Peach Belt conference. The Saints went 14-15 last season.
CMU will begin its season at 7 p.m. on Nov. 28 at Illinois-Chicago on ESPN3.
