CMU community reacts to MAC's return

The Central Michigan football team enters Kelly/Shorts Stadium before its game against Akron Sept. 14.

Kelly/Shorts Stadium remained silent while stadiums across the country either had some fans or artificial crowd noise echoing off empty seats. 

But the lights on Kelly/Shorts Stadium will be able to shine bright. There will be fall football.

The Mid-American Conference announced in a statement Friday that the fall season will begin on Nov. 4 and conclude either on Dec. 18 or 19 with the conference championship game at Ford Field in Detroit.
