RA application deadline extended to Monday
Due to a low number of applicants, the deadline to apply to be a resident assistant for the 2020-21 academic year has been extended.
The deadline was originally set for Friday, Jan. 17. Now, applicants have until noon on Monday, Jan. 20 to apply.
Those interested can learn more at a prospective staff night event at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15 in the Bovee University Center Rotunda.
An RA's duty is to build a strong and supportive community within the residence halls while assisting residents with both personal and academic concerns.
"Being an RA is such a great experience. You learn so much about who you are and who you want to be," Kim Voisin, assistant director of residence life, said. "The job really prepares you for working with and leading others wherever your personal or professional life takes you."
