2020 DB/WR Donte Kent commits to Central Michigan
Central Michigan added another Pennsylvania commit for its 2020 class.
Harrisburg High School athlete Donte Kent announced his commitment to play for the Chippewas on Sunday.
A 5-foot-11, 165-pound athlete who played both corner back and wide receiver in high school, Kent picked Jim McElwain's squad over East Carolina, James Madison, Western Carolina, Connecticut and Toledo.
Kent was offered by Central Michigan on Nov. 18 before committing nearly a month later.
Central Michigan sits at 8-5 overall and finished 6-2 in Mid-American Conference play and won the MAC West Division in McElwain's first year in charge of the program.
The Chippewas are set to play in the New Mexico Bowl at 2 p.m. Saturday against San Diego State.
