Maddie Davis shares her CM Life experience

In celebration of CM Life's upcoming 100 Year Anniversary, we asked alumna Maddie Davis to reflect on her time at CM Life and how it helped her get prepared for the job she has today.
Q: What year did you begin working for CM Life?
A: I started working at CM Life in the Fall of 2014.
Q: How long were you here?
A: I worked on the team until I graduated in December of 2016.
Q: What position did you work in?
A: On the street team.
Q: What were some of the highlights or favorite memories while working for CM Life?
A: I loved working at CMLife! I met some of my best friends, gained real life experience that I still use and expanded my networking communities. I absolutely loved working on the Harry Potter themed housing fair and the newspaper. I was able to take the lead on the housing fair in 2016 and on the week of events leading to it. I learned SO much throughout the process and got to base the theme off of my favorite series!
Q: Do you still keep up with CM Life regularly?
A: I keep up to date with CMLife through the alumni page, sporadic reading of articles and texting Kathy periodically (not as often as I should, sorry Kathy, I’ll do better!) to check in.
Q: Where do you work now?
A: I'm working advertising now at MRM/McCann in metro Detroit. I really credit a good amount of my interview answers that won me the job to my time at CMLife. I walked into the role understanding certain niches (making a brief and timeline, working with the creative team and clients to ensure timeliness and accuracy) because of my time at CMLife too.
