Incoming Five Guys hiring for management positions
The Five Guys Burgers and Fries coming to Mount Pleasant is hiring managers.
A help-wanted post was made on their Facebook page looking for shift managers and assistant managers. The positions are advertised as paying from $13 to $15 an hour full-time.
The future Five Guys at 1620 S. Mission St. is still looking at a “projected opening date of late October”.
Qualifications include (but are not limited to) being at least 18 years old, having a high-school diploma and a year or more of experience in leadership roles and the food service industry.
Some, but not all, of the responsibilities that come with the shift manager or assistant manager positions are handling inventory and finances, leading and training a crew, customer service and being available to work opening and closing shifts every week. Morning shifts are listed as 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and afternoon shifts from 3-11 p.m.
