SVSU professor to speak at annual Constitution Day lecture
Julie A. Keil, a faculty member at Saginaw Valley State University, believes the right to vote should be a human right.
She will discuss this belief during Central Michigan University's annual Constitution Day lecture 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 in the Sarah and Daniel Opperman Auditorium.
Keil is a legal expert who advises the Moot Court Team, the SVSU mock trial team. She also served as an international elections observer in the 2011 Liberian presidential election.
The event is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the department of history and the department of political science and public administration.
The event is free and open to the public.
