Streets closings for Christmas parade on Saturday
A few Mount Pleasant roads will be closed or blocked off in preparation for the 25th annual Christmas Celebration lighted parade on Saturday, Dec. 1.
Main Street, between Illinois and Mosher streets, and Broadway Street, between Main and Lansing streets, will be closed from 1-8 p.m. on Dec. 1.
From 4-8 p.m. Main Street from Cherry to Illinois Street will be closed.
Cars left on these streets will be subject to towing, according to a Nov. 30 press release from the city.
The parade begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday on Main Street in downtown Mount Pleasant.
