Silent disco event will take place at the Wayside Central Nov. 15

Some of mid-Michigan’s most popular DJs will compete to perform in next year’s Prime Music Festival in Lansing, MI.
Central Michigan University’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services will host "Silent Beats: Battle of the DJs" from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Nov. 15 at the Wayside Central. The event will be the department's first ever silent disco.
DJs include: DJ FatBoy, Haze Dog, Buddha, EDERZ, BluThundrrDisco, Groove Controllaz, Pedro Peso and Mr. Dill. Tickets are only available in advance and cost $8. All proceeds will be donated to Mind Meets Music of Grand Rapids to assist children’s education through music.
