The store reported that someone had been using one of their demo computers for hours at a time, over the course of a few days on March, 29, 30, 31 and April 1.
Walmart reviewed its security footage and traced the activity to 38-year-old Timothy David Powers, a registered sex offender in Michigan.
A warrant was filed, and Powers was taken into custody on April 9 on two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, with bond set at $20,000 for each.
Upon inspection, there was pornographic images found on the computer, some of which contained subjects that were under the age of 18.
