Central Michigan volleyball fell in three straight sets to Michigan State on Saturday in the Shamrock Invitational.
The Chippewas (8-3) lost each set by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 26-24.
Michigan State (6-2) dominated the first two sets before fighting off a late surge from the Chippewas in the third set.
CMU's Jordan Bueter led the team with 13 kills while Paige Carey and Kalina Smith had nine and seven kills, respectively. Libero Megan Kern also pitched in 12 digs.
CMU returns to action tonight at 7 p.m. to face tournament-host Notre Dame.
