CMU student threatens roommates with knife in Wheeler Hall; current location unknown, per alert
A Central Michigan University student threatened his roommates with a knife late Sunday night and his location is unknown at this time.
CMU issued an important notice after 12:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18. The message said a CMU student threatened his roommates with a three-to-four-inch knife at approximately 11:42 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17 on the seventh floor of Wheeler Hall.
He left the scene and his current location is unknown at this time, according to the notice. Police are on scene investigating.
The student has been described as a white male, 5-foot-8 and approximately 175 pounds, according to the notice. He has short light-brown hair and was wearing a long sleeve tie dye blue and orange shirt and light cargo shorts.
According to the notice, if someone matching the description is spotted, do not approach and dial 911.
