Body found at local motel, investigation remains open
A woman’s body was found in a hot tub Monday morning at the Baymont Inn and Suites, according to the Isabella County Sheriff's Office.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press released issued by the sheriff's office. Deputies are not releasing the woman's name or other identifying information until they can notify the next of kin.
The incident is currently under investigation.
Deputies were dispatched to the Inn at approximately 7:57 a.m. Monday after a 26-year-old female was found face down in a hot tub in a common area in the hotel, located 5858 E. Pickard Road, according to the release.
Sheriff’s Office investigators are now creating a timeline of the events that possibly could have occurred leading up to the subject’s death.
