Volleyball signs three new athletes
The Central Michigan volleyball team has added three new members Friday after head coach Mike Gawlik announced their National Letter of Intents.
The signees include two Illinois natives: setter Grace Butler and middle blocker Miani Bolden. CMU also picked up outside hitter Lyza Myers from Napoleon.
Standing at 6-foot-1, Butler was named to Prepvolleyball.com's 2016 150 Senior Aces List and crowned an AAU All-American.
Myers was named third team all-state her junior year and was twice named Max Preps' Michigan Player of the Week in 2015. She finished her senior season with 658 kills.
