Fourth 'Thrilling Thursdays' event to include Mount Pleasant's largest city-wide game of Simon Says

It's week number four of the City of Mount Pleasant's "Thrilling Thursdays" events series, which continues this week with "Superhero Princess Extravaganza" from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Main and Broadways Streets on Thursday.
Participants will dress up as their favorite superhero or princess while partaking in athletic, craft and entertainment activities offered.
At 7:30 p.m. the city will host its largest Simon Says competition and a $50 gift certificate to Gourmet Cupcake Shoppe, at 201 1/2 E. Broadway Street, will be raffled off to those who participate.
The event will include a kid-friendly obstacle course created by Fusion Fitness of Mount Pleasant, a performance by the dancers of 3rd Coast Dance Company and an arts and crafts area will be set up for patrons to create their own masks and crowns.
The purpose of the Thrilling Thursdays series is to encourage residents to "#MakeDowntownYourDestination" this summer. The 10-week series will feature a different event each week in the city's downtown. It continues every Thursday until Aug. 18.
