Portion of Broadway Street to be closed for construction
A portion of Broadway Street will be closed for construction starting April 11.
The project will continue for about a month, including reconstruction of the road, curb and portions of the sidewalk. It will also include storm and sanitary sewer work.
West Broadway will be closed to through traffic for reconstruction from the Harris Street intersection to the railroad tracks.
Drivers will be detoured using Main Street to Pickard and Harris streets.
Nelson Park, City Hall and downtown businesses will all remain open during construction.
