Institute for Health and Business Insight hosts webinar
The Institute for Health and Business Insight is hosting a webinar series to help students expand their knowledge of analytic topics.
Thursday Nov. 19 data analyst Joseph Pomerville will discuss "Analytics in the Classroom: an Overview of the SAS 'Analytics Shootout." The webinar opens at 2 p.m. and is free of charge for those interested in viewing.
This session offers an overview of the SAS Shootout, and discusses some of the many benefits that are available to participating students preparing to enter the field and how the Shootout can be integrated into the classroom setting.
The SAS Shooutout is an analytics competition open to undergraduate and graduate students in the U.S. and Canada. Participants are given a collection of diverse datasets and a real-world analytics problem to address. This years problem was predicting city-wide wind and solar energy production and consumption.
