It comes down to one final chance.

The Central Michigan University field hockey team has the opportunity to win the Mid-American Conference Title on Saturday.

They will have to do it against a team that they haven’t beat in over five years.

The women will look to upset Kent State’s perfect MAC record. In doing so, they will share a part of the conference title and the number one seed in the MAC.

“The pressure is going to be there. You just have to find that fine line,” Freese said.

A three-game winning streak trails KSU into Mount Pleasant on Saturday. CMU has lost their last two games, including a 3-2 overtime decision to fellow MAC opponent, Ohio University.

Leading KSU is senior forward Hannah Faulkner with 17 goals, and seven assists.
