CMU 6 Buffalo 3: Foley strikes out 10 in complete game win, CMU remains undefeated in the MAC

Junior pitcher Jordan Foley was rocked in the second inning against Buffalo.

After giving up a double, Buffalo catcher Kyle Brennan blasted a two-run home run over the left field wall to put Buffalo up 3-0.

Foley adjusted his hat, got back on the mound and locked in retiring the next 14 batters in route to a come from behind victory 6-3 for Central Michigan.

The Chippewas improved to (18-11, 7-0) with the win over Buffalo.

While Brennan blasted a home run, CMU’s own catcher took over the game.

Tyler Huntey had four hits and three runs batted in.

Shortstop Morgan Oliver and center-fielder Nick Regnier each added two hits.

After a shaky second inning, Foley struck out ten batters pitching a complete game.

Five of those strikeouts were looking.
