CMU named top online Bachelor's program in the nation
Central Michigan University has the best online Bachelor’s program in the country, according to a study released by U.S. News on Wednesday.
The annual list evaluated about 1,000 online programs for their graduation rates, the debt of new graduates, and career and support services offered to students.
CMU climbed to the top from 39th place in 2013, to tie with SUNY College of Technology – Delhi, in New York, for first place. Pace University, in New York, saw a slight dip from first place last year, to third in 2014 – tying with Penn State University World Campus.
In total, nine schools from the state of New York made the Top 200. CMU was the only Michigan university in the Top 10.
