Stabbing suspect turns himself in
The suspect of a Chippewa Township stabbing turned himself in Friday afternoon at the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. Eighteen-year-old Orlin Jermaine Hannah Jr. turned himself in after police allege he stabbed two people in Chippewa Township on Thursday morning.
The stab wounds do not appear to be life-threatening although one of the individuals was transferred by ambulance to Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, according to police.
The suspect is being charged with; assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon.
The incident is still being investigated by the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
