Deer head left on car as possible prank, dispute
The Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to an unusual malicious destruction of property complaint Tuesday morning.
At 9:16 a.m. police responded to a deer head being placed on the hood and windshield of a vehicle at 907 S. Main St. Blood was spilled on the hood and windshield as a result.
"We suspect it is a neighborhood dispute," said Sgt. Cary Murch. "We think the deer was taken legally during the hunting season, and they used the head of the deer as a prank."
Murch said the department is still investigating the incident.
