CMU baseball's series opener against Akron postponed; doubleheader scheduled for Saturday
The series opener between the Central Michigan baseball team and Akron has been postponed due to rain in northeast Ohio.
Junior left-hander Trent Howard was expected to get the start today.
Both teams will play a doubleheader Saturday at Lee R. Jackson Field in Akron, Ohio, beginning at 1 p.m.
CMU is 13-17 and 2-4 in the Mid-American Conference heading into this weekend's series.
