Attempted armed robbery near Towers Thursday night
An armed robbery attempt occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Friday near the volleyball courts outside the Towers Residence Halls.
“As far as we know there was only one person involved,” said Central Michigan University Police Chief Bill Yeagley.
The police currently have no descriptions of the subject who was armed with a knife. Nothing was taken.
“It was only an attempt. We are just beginning this investigation, once we have time to look into it more we will be able to tell you more," Yeagley said.
